Admission in Germany:

Admission criteria for postgraduate courses are different and every institute have its own guidelines and requirements. To get admission in Germany an applicant have to prove that he/she has strong hold on language and for this there are two different tests are conducted.
1. TestDAF
This test is known as the test of German as a foreign language, this test is held six times in a calendar year all over the world. 
2. DSH 
This test is known as The German Language University Entrance Examination. This test is conducted by German universities, this test check the ability and proficiency for university level study. There are some universities those offer TestDAF while other conduct DSH, but both tests are recognised at all universities. TestDAF and DSH registration fee is different in different countries. However, in Germany this test cast in between €150 to €175. The registration fee for DSH varies from university to university. It is important that all international courses are taught primarily in English, therefore there is no need to have German language knowledge before entering in this country.

Course fees in Germany:

In Germany there are two kinds of universities private and public. The majority of public universities are funded by government that is why these universities often provide free education in bachelor’s and master’s levels, but some of them are charged and confirm this before taking admission. The private or owner universities charges are comparatively higher for their courses. The visa application is submitted at the German embassy or the German Consulate in applicant country of residence.The visa processing time is about 25 days and it is advised that apply your student visa before your course starts.


Required Documents for study visa:

As an applicant if your application for admission is accepted by German University, then the second step is to apply a student visa. This visa should apply before three months to go for course starting in Germany. The application for visa and all other necessary documents dispatched to the Immigration Office and after approval of application from the Immigration Office the consulate will release applicant a residence permit in the shape of visa.

3. Two passport size recent colour photographs. 
4. Admission letter from institute. 
5. Transcript of academic record. 
6. Proof of financial fund for expenses in Germany.
7. Declaration of authenticity of documents submitted for visa.
